Permanent makeup pigments differ from tattoo inks in that they are designed to fade slowly over time. The PMU pigment is placed into the skin at a depth of about 1/3 the depth of a traditional tattoo, therefore the colour is much softer.
There is a short period of downtime after having a permanent makeup procedures done. How long depends on which procedure you’ve had: eyebrows, eyeliner, or lip blush. Lip blush could possibly have the longest downtime, because your lips can be very dry and flaky. Eyebrow procedures don’t really have any downtime. After your eyeliner procedure, your eye could be red and a bit scratchy, and the eyelids will be a little swollen for about 2-3 days. Downtime doesn’t mean that you have to hide away until the healing process is over, on the contrary! You can go out as usual, but you need to be careful about what you expose your skin to. Permanent makeup should be treated as carefully as a minor wound.
Eyebrows
Microblading is a semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is scratched into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles. Generally, results can last from 18 to 30 months depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how often you get touch-ups.

Ombré shading graces you with one to three years of low maintenance for your brows. It is particularly recommended for women with oily skin or combination skin or anyone who fills in their brows regularly with pencil or shadow. Lash Enhancement
Lash Enhancement can define and accentuate your eyes, making the lashes appear thicker and denser. It is a style of permanent eyeliner, a form of permanent makeup that recreates the look of eyeliner by tattooing it on the skin of the eyelid What we actually mean is having your lash line tattooed with a thin line that looks like very thin eyeliner. The line follows the lashes from one corner of the eye to the other, giving an illusion of darker, thicker lashes, like you have more natural lashes than you actually do. The treatment requires a 6-8 week touch-up procedure. Once the touch-ups are done, the results can last up to 3-5 years.
Lip Blush
Lip blushing (otherwise known as lip tattoo) is a permanent makeup procedure that tints your lips using pigments. Enhancing the colour of your lips, lip blushing helps your lips look more defined and appear fuller. It doesn’t define the edges and gives off a soft airbrushed effect. Soft natural colour will cover uneven pigmentation or the lack of it, without changing the shape or texture of your lips.A lip tattoo is done by placing the pigments into the skin of the lips using PMU machine. For most people, lip blushing can last about 2 years without additional touch ups. There are cases where they fade after about a year, as well as those whose lip tattoo lasts up to 5 years. It’s all very individual and depends on many factors. Some of these factors can be controlled, others, like your body chemistry, cannot.
